Its dedicated employees and Committee have provided a loud and proud voice for farm employers for more than 60 years.
Primary Employers Tasmania prides itself on delivering expert and timely advice, advocacy, training and mediation, ensuring farmers can engage and manage employees and operate a safe, connected and balanced business that complies with all relevant legislation.
Our mission is to be the first point of call for all primary industries employment concerns and issues, alleviating any industrial relations stress and enabling farmers to focus on what they do best – producing some of the world’s best agricultural goods.
Primary Employers Tasmania is unwavering in its commitment to lobbying all levels of government and all relevant government agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for Tasmanian farmers, as well as providing personalised and accredited training, job search opportunities and human resources advice. Primary Employers Tasmania is also a member of the National Farmers Federation.
A not-for-profit organisation, Primary Employers Tasmania is a registered employer organisation under the provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009.
