New Codes of Practice That You Need To Consider

A new code of practice on Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment has been approved and came into effect on 19 June 2024. This new code provides practical guidance on how to manage health and safety risks associated with sexual and gender-based harassment; and how to achieve the standards required under the work health and safety laws. The new code applies to all workplaces and highlights the role of leadership and culture in the workplace.

The code of practice for Managing the Risks of Plant in the Workplace has been updated. It applies to all workplaces where plant is used and anyone involved in these activities.
It also came into effect in Tasmania on 19 June 2024.
